When looking for a real estate agent we wanted someone who had extensive knowledge of the Walnut Creek area with fixer upper expertise. We were paired up with Emanuel Sakkis from Dudum Real Estate. Emanual started the process by touring us through the various neighborhoods and giving us an idea of which ones were a good fit for our personality. His vision for improvements and general knowledge of repair costs were right-on. He also has an eye for red-flags; in terms of major faults in a property, a talent we found extremely helpful. Our closing process was complicated due to the condition of the home and repairs needed in escrow but in the end, Emanuel worked magic for us and pushed it through to close. After purchasing our forever home, we decided to give Emanuel the exclusive on our condo. Our Iron Horse Loft property presented several challenges: it was unique to the area, was large in square footage but only had one bedroom and it faced Bart. Finding a comp for these units is near impossible (especially without recent sales) but Emanuel did extensive research to get us in the right range for a quick sale. Adding to his challenge, condo sales started to slump in July (as we went on the market) but he was able to get it sold for us and I'm happy to say that it's the highest sale price in the complex in recent years. Unlike our buying experience, the closing process on our loft was quick and easy; we even closed early! Overall, I would recommend Emanuel on either the buying or selling end. His talents are multifaceted and his pool of resources is expansive; we've used his contractors, electricians and specialists for our new home and they've all been excellent. While we don't plan on moving for years to come, we highly recommend Emanuel to anyone who's looking for a great agent.

Since day one our agent Emanuel Sakkis has worked tirelessly for us and I cannot imagine buying or selling a home with any other agent. Early on in this process he would come to our home when it was the most convenient for us and stay and answer questions until 9:30pm (this happened multiple times I might add). He guided us through every step of the home selling and buying process, providing excellent recommendations for lenders, contractors, and inspectors. He recommended the highest quality of professionals in the area and it was proven to be the right choice every time. I would recommend the same professionals to all of my friends and family in the area. Once our house went into escrow, I cannot count how many times my wife and I would look at each other and say "Thank God we have Emanuel". This is because when things started to unravel on the buyer's side, Emanuel was always right there keeping the deal moving forward. This lack of urgency from the buyer's agent prompted Emanuel to make contact with all the necessary people on the buyer's side to keep the deal moving forward. I personally feel that Emanuel saved this deal more than once. Our agent Emanuel even made himself available to the buyer anytime she needed to view or inspect the home. This letter serve two purposes, first to sing the praises of our tireless realtor Emanuel Sakkis, his efforts went far and beyond his scope of work. Second, to state that not all realtors are equal, and in every case they do not do the same amount of work. It is obvious that Emanuel has spent countless hours consulting to make this deal happen, which in turn will allow us to buy our new home for our growing family.
We just bought our house, and we were extremely pleased to have Emanuel Sakkis as our Realtor. Emanuel was an excellent Realtor, and a consummate professional. He worked with us for almost two years to find the right house. The market has been a little bizarre here in the Bay Area over the last two years and Emanuel was there with timely advice, recommendations and support. Emanuel grew up here, and is an East Bay expert, that made it much easier to help us nail down the areas we were interested in. Once he learned what we were looking for, he kept us informed of new listings coming onto the market that fit our parameters, and pre-screened homes for us to make sure they would be a fit. Daily emails with listing updates were also appreciated. He kept in touch with us proactively but was patient and wasn't pushy or ever overly aggressive. He was very responsive, and always available for questions via phone or email.When we finally found the right house, he walked us through the whole buying process, helped us negotiate a very fair price, inspections, credits, etc. This can be a stressful process but it was certainly made so much simpler with Emanuel's help! As new home owners we also needed recommendations for having some work done. Emanuel was also on top of that with wonderful tips on movers, handyman, electrician, locksmith, etc. I cannot say enough about Emanuel. When we eventually sell this house and buy the next, we'll definitely be using him. We are settling in today, madly unpacking after the move, and he even dropped by to bring us lunch - a super thoughtful guy from start to finish. If you're looking to move in the East Bay - particularly Lamorinda/Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill area, I'd highly recommend him.
